The beer gods have worked their magic once again in Barcelona, with the arrival of the heavenly Zythos Beer bottle shop and tasting space.
This chic-but-homely craft beer emporium is located in the ever-hip Eixample Esquerre and is the perfect place to stock up on your favourite brews from across Europe, America and beyond.
Oscar, the owner, offers an exclusive selection of ales – “I don’t stock ‘everything and anything'”, he assured me. I particularly like his range of American and Belgian beers, and the local Catalan offerings are quite spectacular. He also has Stella Artois, Brooklyn Lager, Weihenstephan and Punk IPA on draught (by the pint or half pint) and some seriously good tapas.
